IFC Coordinate Checker reviews origins, units and placements so spatial inconsistencies can be seen before they complicate coordination. This matters when models are federated, compared or checked for clashes across disciplines.
The tool is for checking and reporting coordinate evidence. It is not a surveying certification workflow and does not claim to transform or correct geospatial data automatically.
Coordinate review can cover model origin, placement information, unit consistency and large-coordinate or offset symptoms where supported. Exported findings can then guide the coordination decision or the conversation with the model author.
Poor coordinate consistency can make otherwise useful IFC models difficult to align. Checking coordinates before federation, clash review or revision comparison helps keep downstream evidence easier to trust.
