Author requirements before validation

IDS Creator helps turn information requirements into a structured Information Delivery Specification workflow. In IFC Viewer, the tool is designed around applicability, requirement facets, restrictions and editable templates, so requirements can be reviewed before they are exported as IDS XML.

The page describes authoring and review inside the Apple app. It is not a browser IDS editor, a certification service or an automatic guarantee that downstream model data will pass validation.

Review the specification before export

The inspected workflow supports template-led authoring, validation findings, preview and export routes. That review step matters because IDS files are only useful when the requirements are explicit enough for a model author or validator to understand.

Export wording is limited to supported IDS files and report routes in the app. Imported source and generated output should still be checked against the project requirement context.

Where AI fits

IFC Viewer can offer optional on-device assistance in this area, but the public claim stays bounded: AI can help explain or draft within the supported workflow, while deterministic validation and review findings remain the authority for export readiness.
